Has your equipment been checked ?

In simple terms Portable Appliance Testing, or electrical equipment inspection and testing, is an MOT for your electrical appliances.  Just like our cars our electrical appliances also need regular servicing or testing.

Portable Appliance Testing is a key area for businesses to ensure the safety of both employees and clients.  Various Health & Safety regulations require that your electrical "Systems" are maintained.  By having your appliances tested regularly  you can demonstrate that you are a caring supplier, employer and that the finer things concerning Health and Safety law do matter.

But  it helps you have:-

bulletPeace of mind that your electrical appliances are safe
bulletValid insurance in the case of a claim against your business
bulletYour protected livelihood

Why should you use our service?

We feel that our prices reflect the service you will get.  Portable appliance testing is a bore.  It's repetitive and, to some larger electrical contracting firms, may be seen as something that they feel they should be doing to offer their clients the full range of services.  Knowing that those carrying out the inspection and testing only need to be competent it's easy to put anyone they want into your premises to do your testing.

That's where we are different!

The person who does your portable appliance testing will have:-

bulletA number of years experience in the electrical industry.
bulletHave the qualifications to back that experience up.
bulletBe able to test fixed appliances as well as portable ones.
bulletDemonstrate how electrical safety can be a key part of compliance with the Health and Safety at Work Act and regulations.
bulletAdvise you on aspects of the Wiring Regulations that may be compromising issues connected with the use of your portable appliances.  i.e. access to sockets, types of sockets etc. better suited to "special locations".

You wouldn't let some one drive an unsafe vehicle would you?    So why risk letting them use unsafe equipment?
